Since a few months now, there are ”spinning” rumors around the world-wide web that BMW will have a strong competitor coming up, who will challenge the Mercedes Benz CLS and the Porsche Panamera. Planned release date of this challenger (named BMW 850i) will be in 2009. Below you’ll see the rendering version of a BMW 4-door Luxury Sports Coupe version. This BMW 850i will be based on the new 2009 BMW 7 Series frame and chassis.

BMW is seriously thinking about the possibilities and weighing the chances, to develop a new small vehicle, which would align itself into the class of the MINI Cooper. The idea behind it is the struggle of daily commuters in big cities to find a suitable parking space and of course the steadily increasing prices for gasoline. I found this one in one of my German magazines. This new released rendering and shot spy photo of the new 2010 BMW 5 Series gives us an idea how the 2010 will be shaped. I think this rendered 5 Series is just looking great!

Now my only hope will be that we are getting this powerful looking cross-over vehicle for the U.S. market with BMW’s new diesel technology (and may be later on the hydrogen technology, too), which will be introduced end of the year for the BMW fleet. |
I received yesterday through one of my channels an updated rendering (looks actually pretty much like a real photo) of the upcoming new arrival in the BMW model year 2010 - The little brother of the X3 - The all new BMW X1.
