Service day has a logistics problem. We solve it three ways.
Your car is in one place and your day is somewhere else. That's the real cost of a service visit, and it's the part we plan for before you arrive.
- A loaner BMW, when your repair qualifies. Loaners usually go to owners whose cars are still under factory warranty or in for a covered issue. Ask when you schedule and we'll confirm off your VIN.
- A ride for everything else. No loaner on your visit? We'll put you in an Uber to work, home, or errands, and bring you back when your BMW is ready.
- Mobile service at your driveway. For routine maintenance, a BMW-certified tech comes to your home or office with factory tools and Genuine BMW Parts. The trip to Jonesboro Road becomes optional.
None of this is new here. The Uber-to-work arrangement and the loaner program both show up in our Google reviews, and the mobile program runs on its own dispatch line five days a week.
Tell the advisor how you need to keep moving that day. We set it up when you book.
How the loaner program works.
Here is the policy, stated plainly: loaner BMWs usually go to vehicles still under factory warranty or in for a covered issue, like a recall or a warranty repair.
The word to bring is your VIN. We run it before your visit, and it tells us two things at once: whether your repair is covered, and whether your visit qualifies for a loaner. You'll know both before you arrive, not at the counter.
Availability changes day to day, so ask for a loaner when you schedule rather than on arrival. One reviewer got into a loaner the same day a tire blew out; on busier days the honest answer is a ride instead.
No loaner? You still get where you're going.
This is the part most service departments treat as an extra. Here it's part of the appointment: if your visit doesn't qualify for a loaner, we cover the gap with ride-share.
Drop the car, and we'll put you in an Uber to the office, back home, or out to the errand you were going to run anyway. When your BMW is ready, we bring you back to pick it up.
That applies to any service visit, not only the big-ticket ones. An oil service shouldn't strand you in a waiting room for half a day.
Mobile service: we come to you.
The most convenient service visit is the one you never make. For routine maintenance, our BMW-certified technicians bring factory tools and Genuine BMW Parts to your home or office.
- Free multi-point inspection: the same health check we'd run on the drive, in your driveway.
- Oil changes, micro-filters, air filters, and spark plugs. Routine maintenance done on-site.
- Tire replacements, without you sitting in a waiting room.
- More services are being added, so ask what's available for your model when you call.
The program runs on its own dispatch line, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Reach out after hours and we'll get back to you the next business day.
We cover a wide slice of metro Atlanta: Sandy Springs, Atlanta, Marietta, Peachtree City, Mableton, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, McDonough, Griffin, Stockbridge, and Jonesboro, GA. Not sure if you're in range? Call and ask.
First mobile visit: we're currently waiving the $38.75 convenience fee (limited-time, so confirm the current offer when you book).
The rest of the convenience list.
Loaner, ride, or driveway visit gets you through the day. A few more things keep the rest of the week intact:
- Same-day slots, most weekdays. Call in the morning and there's a fair chance we can see the car today.
- Open Saturdays, 8 AM to 4 PM. Weekend service hours are rare on this brand; one reviewer called ours "rare to be open on Saturday."
- After-hours pickup. Collect your BMW after the service department closes, for the days that don't end at 6.
- Flying out of Hartsfield-Jackson? We're a short hop from the airport and offer free airport parking with a shuttle. Drop your BMW for service, catch your flight, and it's serviced and waiting when you land.
- A written VIN quote before any work starts, and a multipoint inspection with video, so you see what the tech sees.

How we researched this page
This page describes the loaner, ride-share, and mobile-service programs we run from our Union City service drive. The loaner and ride-share policy language was confirmed with dealership management in July 2026; mobile-service details, hours, and coverage areas reflect the program as published on our mobile service page. If you spot a factual error, email our service team and we'll correct and re-verify.
Loaner availability, ride-share arrangements, and mobile-service scheduling are all handled by the service advisors at booking. Non-warranty work is quoted in writing before it starts.
Questions we get asked most often.
Does BMW of South Atlanta offer loaner cars for service?
Yes. Loaner BMWs usually go to vehicles still under factory warranty or in for a covered issue, such as a recall or warranty repair. Availability changes day to day, so ask for a loaner when you schedule at (678) 619-3081 and we'll confirm off your VIN.
What counts as a covered repair for a loaner?
Work performed under your factory warranty or another covered program — an open recall, a warranty repair, or a covered high-voltage item on an i-Series. We confirm coverage off your VIN before your visit, so you'll know whether your appointment qualifies before you arrive.
What if my visit doesn't qualify for a loaner?
We cover the gap with ride-share. Drop the car and we'll put you in an Uber to work, home, or errands, then bring you back when your BMW is ready. It applies to routine visits too, not only major repairs.
Can BMW service come to me instead?
Yes. Our BMW Mobile Service sends a BMW-certified technician to your home or office for oil changes, filters, spark plugs, tire replacements, and a free multi-point inspection. Call or text (470) 717-4665, Monday–Friday 8 AM to 6 PM.
We serve Sandy Springs, Atlanta, Marietta, Peachtree City, Mableton, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, McDonough, Griffin, Stockbridge, and Jonesboro. A convenience fee applies; ask about the current first-visit offer when you book.
Can I drop my BMW for service before a flight?
Yes. We're a short hop from Hartsfield-Jackson, and service customers get free airport parking with a shuttle. Drop the car, catch your flight. Your BMW is serviced and waiting when you land.
How do I schedule, and what are the service hours?
Call (678) 619-3081 or book online through the service scheduler. Service hours are Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM – 4 PM at 4171 Jonesboro Rd, Union City, GA 30291. Mention the loaner, ride, or mobile option you want when you book.
